High School Daze

Okay, this is the last batch of high school photos, I promise. I've been going through the archives and re-editing photos and found these. Another from my vacation in South Carolina, one from a profile we did of a student my senior year for the newspaper, and four from a field trip to Nashville with my photog class. I decided architecture was too boring because everyone else was taking pictures of the buildings. I aimed for the people and think I came out with some decent stuff.

Okay, I promise I didn't smoke in high school, but the following is a photo project I put together senior year. I had a deadline the next day and hadn't thought of anything. This is what I came up with. Follow it left to right.



This was presented in book form. Clearly my photoshop skills weren't spectacular and if I had taken my time with it, it would have come out much better. The following are two photographs from 2007 vacation to South Carolina.

Here are three shots that I dug up from my archives this evening. I got a little bored and also inspired from looking at Avedon photos all day. These were taken in 2004. Decided to give them a new spin, run them through photoshop for the first time. They're film negatives scanned by Wolf Camera, so the quality may not be fantastic, but I think they work.

Something to do with Closets. No Homo.

I've been doing this pretty much all week. I took yesterday off intentionally because everything was starting to look the same and everything tasted like oregano. We're planning to have individual posters for each character. Initially we were just going to tape an object onto each of them, but the way I shot them didn't allow that (my own fault). So I decided to cut out each character as well as their assigned object. The subject on the right doesn't have an object because his character is so out-of-place in the film that his being taped in explains enough (at least, that's the desired affect).

Type and taglines soon to come. Movie to come at some point in this century.
